Title: Practice game of Longships Thursday 30th March
Post by: martin goddard on March 31, 2023, 12:49:37 PM
Chris defending against martin and Stewart.

The scenery layout was quite easy.
We remembered that  the villages are laid out with a vector method.
Two by defender, then two by attacker then the final two by defender.

Initially the attackers ran a unit up the road using the extra 3 free squares of movement.

The other attacker units quickly gained a total of 5 plunders, including a  gift from God.

The fights caused 2 units to be lost by the defender (good luck again).

Chris got his general killed which played on his morale for the rest of the game.

My unit with 3 plunders almost got trenched but another unit cam to their aid along with 4 scores of 6 in the fight (Chris got only 1 hit) :-[.
