I'd love to have been able to come, as I do like these rules and period, but I'm afraid we're away.

Not sure at present, but will if I can. I know nothing about this game though.

I don't have an army so I will need to burrow one to play , please ?
Miles
I will be there for the day on Saturday. I have an army and can provide a full table set-up.
Looking forward to playing one of PPs best rule sets.

Have complete table set ups,
Who has armies?
Stewart has 1
martin has 3.
2 Viking and 1 Saxon.
I will work them out and arrive at Entoyment with the ready made forces.
I might have enough for a third and say here if I have.
martin :)
I'm coming too. Can do Saxons or Vikings.
Richard
Great Richard
Please bring both if you have them in case we need another force
Stewart
I will bring an Irish army.
Mike
Just put an order in for some more AWI stuff. Can you bring it down with you MArtin please.
Cheers
Derek
I can confirm that I will not be there this Saturday.
John
Sorry to hear that John
Take care
Stewart
Derek.
A pleasure.
John.
As long as the wedding went well.
martin :)
We also want cake!
Derek
Summary
Usual 2 games in the day.
Some games 2 per side and some 1 per side.
We have at least 3 Rules lawyers present. One per table. Similar to the FM day.
Longships is quite difficult to remember, but I think we should be OK. Do read the rule clarifications too.

I suggest that each of the four above bring 14 scenery pieces already chosen so that less stuff need be brought along. Gives players no choice, but helps the smooth runnings.
martin will print off battle sheets and soem spare play sheets.
Any questions?

Good day had by all, I think. I owe someone for the tables - sorry!
Richard
Really fun day. Despite rolling the bones of doom in the second game. Well had to give Martin some revenge!
Many thanks all for coming along and for those that organised it.

were all in attendance.
Some games were doubles and others singles.
Eight games played.
Armies present were Viking, Saxon and an Irish army.
I enjoyed the day out.
martin :)
Thanks to everyone that made the day. Especially Stewart and Martin for getting together and organising it, along with others who brought scenery etc. It was nice actually only having to bring Dice and a Set of Rules.
2 games played.
Saxon v Vikings. Lost
Vikings v Vikings. Won. But a great chance after to have some "battle game" turns after.
Just got to learn how to base these Vikings to suit this game and to suit CK as well ?
A very good day thank you for those those that were came.
Miles
I agree with Miles. A good day of games and company.
martin :)
Thanks to Stewart once again for getting us all together for a great days gaming.
Longships is a cracking set of rules and has stood the test of time. Some useful rule clarifications have been collated by Martin for future use. Looking forward to more Viking/Saxon/Carolingian/Irish action at the WWW in November.
Mike
We need more challenges, whether pointless or not.
martin :)
