So whats the new proposals for 2023?
Beachhead show 11 and 12 February.
Stewart has come up with a list which is on here, I will post the list on FB next few days. With the usual banners etc that I can put on them.
PP are doing HI at Beachead.
RFCM team will be doing a Jungle theme at Beachead.
D and B will be doing Dieppe at Beachead ? I believe?
Hopefully I will take HI to NWS event at Yeovil's museum.
Square Bashing is 1918.
WWW is on in November.
CK will come out at somepoint, with games galore etc etc.
We will all be one year older.
A quick appraisal so far.
Miles
Unfortunately Dieppe will not make it to Beachhead 23, my hand broke badly again at the end of October, so not enough time to complete. Just out of plaster for xmas, new plate to go in in the New Year so hopefully 2024.

Miles has made an excellent summary of all the major RFCM events.
At these events there will be two or more of those that are here on the forum.
This is good.
There will also be an HI game for both days at Beachhead.
It will be an "invite" game. i.e no automatic right to play.
The invite game is another new feature of our show presence.
If gamers are interested in the rules and figures they are very welcome to play.
If gamers need an opportunity to tell us about another great set of rules they like playing or need to drop off an uninterested child then there are many other games just for that purpose (possibly not?).
martin :)
That sounds like a very good concept.
We get the same. "I played PBI many years ago ! V1 or V2 ?" That was then so that's why we are showing you this game now. It's a new version and still a valid game system if you look ? But they never do !
Sorry Dave to here about that.
Well your welcomed to come over and join us
Simon and Big Mike along with the rest of us are putting on MoCB and/or Burma 1943-44 or a combination (either day) I know they are working out between them.
I know on the Friday I will set up a raised 6 x 4 table for a table to be set up.
I am sure they will let us know the details after we have played the river HI ?
Miles
Thanks Miles.
I was also sorry to hear about your hand, Dave.
Without giving too much away, it will be MOCB on both days. With some tweaks to scale it up to a 6' x 4' table size. I started watching the Long Tan film last night - great inspiration!
I like the idea of "by invitation only", Martin - makes a lot of sense.
