My name is not Ken... I was thinking the guns could be pivots, that si what they were and fired out gun ports all along the tower (like a turret)...

Commander Klank, I think Martin may be gently encouraging you to leave a name we can call you by here ;)
Whether it's your real name or not doesn't matter, but it makes things feel a little more friendly.
Simon (which may or may not be my own real name ;D)
Today I will be mostly using Aloysius as my nom de plume. :)
At least no one wants to be Loretta today.
martin :)

"Commander Klank" or Jerry as some of us who use Facebook knew that already, as we speak often on there.
But thank you for sharing it on the forum.
It's just on here we normally sign off any piece we write on the forum with our first name.
It just makes it more friendly on here.
While we are here.
"Dawn of Iron:The American Civil War at Sea" is a great Facebook Group to join, a few of the boys from Entoyment are members as well. There are members on there, living in America can get and give details that we over 'ere don't get to see or know about !

Thanks Jerry
Now we need to see how it performs in a game or two?
martin ???
The covered arch for the John Roy's tower ship (ironclad)... the intent was the front pivot tower had a better covered arch then a pivot gun (more that 180 degrees coverage) so the ships broadside includes both guns. I', also going to post a haevy gun version of this ship as the Confederates favored 6.5 to 9 inch rifled guns in ships like this...

She fought today and made a good account of herself, she plowed through the Federals gunboat line and fight like a champ. In he end though, unfortunately, she had to strike her colors after being battered down to 2 hit points slugging it out with the USS Cairo at point blank range...
CSS Tillman is a tower ship...
