Title: Cambrai battle day
Post by: martin goddard on January 11, 2017, 06:26:36 PM
Firts news

Cambrai battle day on 3rd June at Nothe fort.
i will do a lot of work on this soon but not yet
Square bashing rules.    2 games in the day.   5 table frontage at 4feet per table. Units can leave one table and slide on to the next.
using the fort function room, very nice. No cost to players except possibly parking at the Nothe (Easy to park).
9.30 to 5??

Details can be sorted as time goes by but the date is probably the deal breaker/maker for you!
5 players per side????

thanks

Martin,

Please count me in too.

I should have my British force painted up by then.

Thanks for this great initiative.

I'm in with both late war British and Germans. I'll try and provide half a dozen tanks too.

After discussion last at the club last night there was interest from 4-5 players from Burton. For me its not great as its in term time, but I'd like to go. But  i think we could probably organise some sort of sharra-bang

Martin,

I have booked Liz & I into a guesthouse in Weymouth from Fri 2 June to Mon 5 June.

So, while Liz is sunbathing, I will be at Fort Nothe with you on the Saturday.

Please add me to the list. I'm sure there will be more guys from Burton confirming soon.

Ray

Dene Green says that he will also be bringing British. Now that there are quite a few British available I'll bring a German army which I can borrow. This will give me chance to put the painting of my Mid/Late War Western Front British on the 'back-burner' while I get my Middle East armies done.

Martin is now organizing the armies special rules etc.

He was hoping to get stuff out over Easter weekend.
