Title: Blockade Runners

I really like the Blockade Runner scenario. However, until the last game a runner had never made it to open water. So I shaved 500 points off the Union players fleet size and had all their ships as wooden. This time it was much closer. One of the three escaped and another one almost did.
Has anyone else struggled with this scenario ? Had to tweak the sides ? Or any tactics that give the confederacy a better chance with the original set up ?

This is an interesting question, why I never seen it before ?
Maybe the "blockade runners" should have a chance to go an extra hex ? Very Fast ships ?
Might have to try this over the coming months ?
