I bought some of the lovely new 1920's Polish range and realized I am not sure how to paint them. I looked for references online but am still not sure. Anyone have pictures of these painted up or can anyone provide suggestions on how to paint them? Thanks!!!

As an aside. Do conisder doing them a lighter colour so that they show up in 15mm.

Martin is not wrong. A tad paler works well for 15's and the Poles are such lovely sculpts it is good to be able to see all the creases etc.in the detailing...
AMHA, the plate C2 in the MAA 497 is a perfect example. You only need to use a light gray (Vallejo 990?), and then a "strong tone" Army painter ink wash, that will enhance contrasts and add an overall khaki shade.

Thank you so much everyone!!! I can't wait for the figures to arrive and just ordered the light grey paint. I already have the wash. I hope to have an entire army at somepoint. My grandfather served in the Polish army during this period but I only have one black and white picture of him in the uniform and had no idea he was even in the Polish army until I found the picture and it was confirmed by relatives. These figures look absolutely lovely.
I got a few of the figures painted and can't wait to order more. A joy to paint. A question I do have is that I beleive they are a bit late for Russo-Polish War so who are they intended to be used against? Thanks again all!!!

I don't think that they are too late for the russo - polish War, as this is the uniform of the polish legion, that was certainly wore as late as during the battle for Warsaw, and until there was some kind of standardization.
So their opponents should be the Red Army, but also the Germans as there were numerous border clashes in upper Silesia between the poles and the german freikorps in 1919 / 1921.

Thanks for the kind words all. It was a simple paint job as recommended here. Black base coat light greay brown for guns and straps then I went for a null oil wash because the agrax earthshade got the test figure to messy and dark for me. Then based them up. They are really nice figures and lend themselves to painting. I can't wait to get the rest of the range!!!

I am always amazed at Martin's tireless creativity, but look at the NCO from the MG pack (294): the man is sitting on a knapsack with binoculars in hands... truly wonderful! :)
