I don't do Facebook, but am struggling to see the benefit of a breakaway group, rather than hosting all the content here. If appropriate, we could set up sub-boards for "original" AK47 too.

I think it depends on just that, if you do Facebook or not.
I didn't until relatively recently but have really been blown away by all of the content that's available for different rules e.g. for the TFL canon, and by the reach that FB has.
I do take your point about the RFCM forum, however, which is why it would be complementary not in competition with what's already here.
