Title: Children In Need
Post by: John Watson on November 08, 2021, 09:54:30 AM
Hi everyone, as Friday 19th November is Children In Need day I have a suggestion for those at the WWW.
On the Friday evening why don't we contribute (as a group) 50p for each routed or destroyed unit. From what I have seen there are 2 MexRev games and a Hammerin Iron game. The Hammerin Iron game would have to be for ships that have been sunk or struck colours.
So if game one has 5 destroyed/routed units, game two 6 and HI has 7 sunk etc ships then the total is 18 and everyone puts in £9.
I put this out as an idea to see what people think. Entirely voluntary and if the consensus decides otherwise then so be it.

The weekend will only cost Stewart 50p.

The idea is we contribute based on the group result, not individual results, which would be a bit hard on some (no names).

Yes, a good idea.
A donation based on the total lost.

Maybe Simon amd I should team up to split the costs? Otherwise destitution awaits!
