Bovington Tank Museum are holding their major annual event, Tankfest on 17 - 20 September.
I am hoping to get to one or two days of this feast or armour. Who else is planning a visit to this corner of Dorset?
Check out the website for more details.
Apologies to those of you who are not able to travel.
Mike
It has become a major event. It often sells out.
Good for the tank museum.
martin :)
I should be there from Thursday to Sunday working for Dave Lanchester military books. I don't think I will be there on the Monday though. The only possible fly in the ointment is whether or not Dave has a pitch inside the museum. Most of the traders are under canvas outside but with Dave selling books he needs to be guaranteed a dry venue.
If anyone is coming do look out for us and come and say hello. You can't miss us. It is the stand with lots and lots of WW1 and WW2 books.
John
Forgot all about that. We are off to Devon earlier that week so now extended the trip by a night and booked to go on the Friday. :)
Thanks for the nod.
