They loo great. I will try to get Vietnam finished ASAP!!!
martin
They look great Stewart.
What made you opt for the arid finish to your bases?
Must get on with my forces.
Looking forward to the new rule set, and hurra 6inch grids again!!!
When I think of Spain,I think of Sean bean and Sharpe, hot and dry.
Looking good Stewart, my Republicans await the dastardly Foreign Legion.
Chris
I'll also be doing arid basing for my stuff. Dry and dusty with the odd bit of clump foliage.
Basic force
3 platoons . Each of 10 bases (8 rifle, 1 light weapon ,1PC)
To this will be added things like more men, AC, tank, MMG etc........
Raw wil get more additions to make up for the starting difference between them and average/vet.
So, you turn up with three platoons and then declare their quality and choose additions. You will proabably do this way before the game.
martin
PS don't forget that this may change!!!
Thats great Martin, it means that the boxed sets are a good place to start new armies for the new proposed rules.
Hell Les
I forget the boxed sets. i had better change them soon!!!
Martin keep the boxed sets as they are still a good starting point and can be tweaked nearer the rules completion.
Been looking through the boxes.
Found one platoon of Moroccans, with 3 MMG's all painted. Even have a hacienda with two buildings and walls.
And found some more spanish buildings, need to get them dusted off and out on the table, have most of the scenery now.
So need to find the cloth and get it all laid out. And perhaps a photo or two.
