Title: Figures
Post by: tony6655@outlook.com on August 12, 2021, 05:28:31 PM
Just wondering about plans for the figure range. Can we expect to see Northern/Late government cavalry in the near future ? Also U.S. cavalry, sailors and marines ? I also saw some mention in the forum of U.S. Lmg teams.
      Take Care,
                   Tony.

Hello Tony

Here are my thoughts.
Bear in mind that plans can be blown away by events.

US cavalry. Mounted and on foot.
US higher command.
Mexican cavalry in cowboy hats
US lmg team
Possibly sailors or marines

Hope that helps

martin :)

Cheers 😁 You could probably get away with head swaps for the sailors and marines as the headgear for both was distinctive (I think the marines used an 8 sided peaked cap and still do) but the field uniform would have been "light kit".
Thanks for the reply,

Any chance of some female revolutionaries 'Adelitas' with crossed bandaleros, sombreros and full skirts?... many forces had significant numbers and several rose to officer rank across all factions.

Would the female Militia from the SCW range work? It's what I'm going to use.

Good call, Sean
Not following the SCW period I would never have spotted them! Add a couple of slung sombreros from the spare heads and milliput a couple of ammo belts and they'd certainly do the trick
Thanks Amigo!

In the short term I would suggest the SCW females listed above and the Serbian WW1 females too

Thanks Martin,
I had forgotten those! - guess I'm going to add a couple more packs to the list alongside the buildings with my Birthday money!
