Title: Mine Were of Trouble
Post by: Alex M on July 26, 2021, 07:05:38 PM
I was just flicking through Amazon and noticed that the long out of print and hitherto expensive Mine Were of Trouble  by Peter Kemp has been republished . For those not familiar with the book it is the account of an Englishman's battles during the Spanish Civil War fighting for the Nationalist forces in the Requete and the Spanish Foreign Legion . In my opinion it is an absolute classic and a great foil to the many books written by those in the International Brigades and at £7.09 it's a steal .

Thanks Alex. I'm not sure I've heard of any accounts of English fighting for the Franco forced. I'll check it out.
