I've finally given my Washington Army AWI uniys flags. This is most of the Americans. There are a couple of others another box. This is prior to playing a game tomorrow night.
Washingtons Army are quite an old set of rules now, maybe 11 years or so. But they were great then, and they're great now. The mechanisms stand the test of time, and the focus on the AWI in how it manages Militia, flanking amd the difference between trained line troops and poorer troops is excellent.

To give some input.
This is how I do flags.
Probably not the best method but quick and easy for me.
Print the flags on a laser printer to make the colours are more permanent than an inkjet.
If you have control of it, make the centre band quite wide, as the wrap around the pole uses a lot of paper.
Glue with flexible multi purpose glue such as BOSTICK or UHU.
Leave to dry for at least 4.2 (or 4.33)hours.
"Animate" the flag by crushing it up and letting it un-crush a bit.
Touch up the edges if white paper is showing.
Varnish to fix the animation.
Admire your work and call in disinterested parties to admire it too. "That's nice dear". " i am here to deliver the post only"

I do similar to Martin, but use a glue stick.
