Title: New horse holders
Post by: Sean Clark on May 30, 2021, 08:28:45 AM
Lovely new sculpts of mounted horse holders. I had the privilege of seeing the masters of these during my visit last week.

Of course, the mounted man will be eminently suitable for dioramas, vignettes and even the group build command stand.

I would hope to see the horse holder in most command groups. Possibly in the background leaning into the picture?

They do look amazing and the fact they are mounted horse holders makes them unique.

Martin,

The kids call it photo bombing. Not sure it was a thing in 1863 though. I'll order a pack of each tonight and report back.

I'm pretty sure it was a thing. I've seen a number of group portrait photos from the period where one figure is blurred, obviously having just jumped into the photo.

Maybe  a horse would carry out photo bombing?
