I started this before the rules were finalised, but here you go anyway: Belgian HQ for Square Bashing.

Looking swish Andy
Loving how this looks so far.
Andy,
I think your entry is allowable, as the majority of the figures and the staff car are PP and it's for RFCM Square Bashing.
Looking forward to seeing your composition on the base.
Best wishes,
Martin Buck
Looking very colourful, Andy - another reason why 1914 is a nice period!
I look forward to seeing how these progress.

Nice 👍 when I get round to WWI it will be a Belgian army.
Like the French, it provides a splash of colour, cavalry and open landscape in an otherwise grey and brown setting. Plus the Belgians had the first purpose built armoured cars in the field (and dog carts!?)
This looks lovely. Look forward to seeing the finish.
Cheers,
Helen
Bring it on Andy
martin :)
Well, a bit of spurring on is always a good thing. I have a poor reason for lack of progress, namely a hot spell at the moment coupled with the pubs here being reopened, so the kroeg aan de hoek has been getting a fair bit of business from the lad and me. However, since my initial post some more painting has been done and a new photo. All the figures are officers, apart from the driver. Included are mounted infantry officer, mounted and dismounted Guides officers, general on foot and in car, staff officer in car with map (in green uniform) and a Chasseur cavalryman acting as driver. Head swaps for the car occupants.

The car will need a retouch and then some brass - early war so camo not really a priority at this point.
I like the painting sticks - all looking very organised and professional, Andy!

:)
Great progress Andy. The colours used look great.
The Belgian blue is very dark, so to get the effect I used Anita's Midnight Blue on a black primer. After a wash I will highlight wth the Midnight Blue so that it doesn't look completely black. It may require a second highlight after, but I'll wait and see.
Didn't realise I had never posted these photos:
