Good radio program today(radio 4) about what might have happened if the germans had invaded Ireland with the Irish being welcoming.

I am guessing the same thing that would have happened that time they playtested Sealion - the landing might have worked if the Royal Navy hadn't sunk the invasion fleet but then would have been starved out of existence by the same Royal Navy.

There may have been issues in Northern Ireland though that would possibly have made it untenable in the meantime.
