Can someone point in the direction of some paint schemes for the Horse furniture including Caparisoned, and half caparisoned horses in the BB Range. I am looking at doing some refresh work from the existing figures

I have very little idea Si.
I would like to know too.
Humorous idea
The best idea (?) is to do them bright pink. Put them on TMP and invite comment. Then those who delight in your pain will suddenly appear with the correct answer
Hope this helps????
martin :)
( hope someone has a better idea??)
I don't know either but have you tried The Lance and Longbow Society ? They publish lots of useful info on Wars of The Roses heraldry and liveries etc.
Somewhere I have a small book on Blore Heath 1459. Still sorting out my books, but from memory the cover shows one of Lord Audley's cavalry charges and all the horses with caparisons have the same colours, i.e. red and yellow. The horses are moving from then reader's left to right. The front section is red and the rear is yellow. My best guess is this is reversed on the other side. I cannot for the life of me remember if there was any heraldic symbol on the caparison. It seems likely that other cavalry may also have used livery colours on caparisons. When the book surfaces I'll be able to update this.
Our John will, I am sure be able to help with this.
Calling Mr Watson? Mr Watson? Your needed in aisle 5.
