Title: MILL gamette
Post by: martin goddard on January 30, 2021, 08:37:59 AM
Due to present problems there has been no gamette in the MILL 7 and 8.
I feel we need a gamette.
To this end there will be  a gamete for MILL 9.
It will be called "Sniper".
This time I think a majority of the  playtesting will need to be done by forum members .

I am not going to collect names but would appreciate a general Alpha "i am Ok to do some work on this" or Omega"sorry a bit busy in Feb/march"

Of course I hope the usual chaps can help out as without them it is juts the meanderings of martin (interesting but not effective :)).

This also allows me to try out some new mechanisms as with other gamettes

Proposed foundations
1. Solo play (maybe two sniper teams for two players)
2. WW2 sniper (PP has the figures and players have the scenery)
3. About 7 figures (enough to enjoy a quick paint job)
4. 15 minutes of gameplay (allows rapid development of strategy)

martin ???

That sounds like a plan, Martin.

I'm happy to be a General Alpha.

I was going to suggest Vaccine Wars. One juggernaut and driver. Two UK borderforce with clipboards, two EU officials pulling their hair out and shouting "not fair" plus models of Boris and Mrs van den Leyden. Would be topical even if the gamette is S***.

Thanks.
No idea about the basic ideas yet.
I was waiting to see if there was any support before applying any time to the project.

Expect things to start moving late this week (5th Feb 2021)

martin :)
