Post by: Spartacus on November 07, 2020, 09:09:59 PM
Unsure if this lot qualify for eye candy but best I can do

A little reconstruction on  a few.

Pics 1,2 are Essex. Pic 3 are QR.

Hopefully will have a few Hussars from BFAS soon.

Bought a new camera as my original shots were a bit fuzzy, Turns out that my painting is a bit fuzzy!!!

Well done Terry these look great, the banners are excellent.  What were they made from?

These are the photos Terry!

They have come out very nicely.

The limited photo tricks I have learned are:-

1. Shutter timer
2. Minimal depth of field (f5.6 ?)
3.Lots of indirect light.  ie daytime by the window
4. Blue background
5.Tidy up and crop using software  (I use Corel photo shop)

Very nice! The big banners (flags, penants...?) and scenic background really add to the figures.

My top tips for photos are
a) lots of light (I use a little light box with two LED strips)
b) a modern Samsung phone

Photos can also be cropped within Umgur, or probably directly on most phones too.

Thanks guys.

I have had a Benq photo studio for ages but dont use the box itself I just use the lighting set against the side of my table.

I used tiny 2mm beads with 1mm holes for the lance counterwheights But now Tomasz at BFAS has sent me some of theirs.

Banners from https://www.wargamesdesigns.com/flags.html#

Although I made the Black ones.

I cropped the shots with windows 10.

I also re-took the photos of my Sassanids too, Thats in marketplace section.
