Members here are from all over the world.
Therefore their last game of the year might be at different times.
At the moment my last two games of the year will be Tues and weds. 2nd 3rd Nov.
Both games will be FM.
Both will be in the local area.
If you are not in UK keep our spirits up by giving detail of your proposed December games.
martin :)
My last game in 2020 is looking like Bloody Barons yesterday at Wessex Wargames Society against my good friend Derek Major. He has never played before. I have played two or three times before but not since WWW 2019 almost a year ago, so our grasp of the rules was a bit sketchy. We muddled through though and a very pleasant afternoon resulted in a narrow win for the Lancastrians under Lord Wenlock (me). We struggled to work out the difference between a rout and a fall back off table due to morale and whether a routed unit was the same as a destroyed unit for VP, but otherwise I think we got there.
We have arranged to play Hammerin' Iron on 14th November and I have a PBI2020 game booked for 28th November but neither of these are going to happen.

My last game will be 31/12 against the mighty Ben.
His new Kampfgruppe is looking a tad scary.
Dave
End of year too far away at the moment.
At the moment my last game is looking like my day out to Weymouth Saturday just gone. Unless a miracle happens before hand.
It's more when will my first game be in 2021 ? At this rate not until Spring ?
Which is annoying as my interest in the PBI 2020 has just been ignited.
Miles
Les, has France announced a proposed release from lockdown or is it just ongoing?
The UK one seems to be a bit erratic, as the chances of a track and trace system that works are remote.
martin :)
I am not in the UK. My December games will be solo none the less. Probably Honours of War and Walter Schnaffs.

Yep, very pleasant game. Thanks for the fun John. Now to finish off my men in black PJ's, start on the ACW ironclads, then .....? and then......? and then.......?

Martin we are in confinement until at least December 4th.
At the moment there is a lot of discussion about what are necessary commodities and which shops can sell them. There is concern that the supermarket who are allowed to be open are selling goods other than food. This is seen as unfair to the small business who may be just sell stationary and have to shut.
Construction is going on and DIY stores are open. Schools have gone back today after half-term last week. Anyone who is able to is expected to work from home.
Take away food is allowed if it is 'substantial meals' what ever they are.
But all this is down to the Prefecture at St Lo to instruct about and then enforce. So different but in some ways just as chaotic as in England.
Seems similar to the UK Les.
Disaster!
