That's still quite late in the year for the Peter Pig team still to be working so hard. Thank you ladies and gentlemen!

Well, Don`t know about you Les, But it has been a constant christmas since I moved here.

I have my mates son arriving tomorrow to put a plan down for our first festive wargame which will take a few weeks to end-game. I will throw up some AAR`s and maybe a narrative if I stay sober long enough.

Being French he wants to play some French-types, I can offer him Gauls and HYW French. I will also get him into some painting so he can see the whole scenario.

My mate is looking for a day off of entertaining his son as Xavier does not do school on a Wednesday.

Yes Terry we are supposed to be on holiday every day!! But it does not go like that most of the time.

It has been just like Christmas most of this year with the various type of confinement. All we hear in the garden on Christmas morning is an odd tractor, no trucks, no cars and even the French Air force has the day off.

Just the normal visit to the bakers.

@ Les. We have much the same thing. All our neighbours are farmers and do the Massey Furguson/John Deere F1 event every day. We have twice held the Fete de Voisins and it`s been great.
Life here is all I ever wanted it to be.
Just eaten Chicken livers in Massala wine and Mushrooms in butter and garlic. Amazingly good and cost next to nothing.
Had an odd day as my Friends son came down on his bike and we spent 5 hours painting my Cossacks. We got through 6 between us, But I had to overpaint his.Well he is only 11.
He has decided he wants to use my Imperial Romans for our next fight. So I will become French and use my Gauls.
We will use Conquerers and Kings for the rules. I think maybe first time I ever tried that ruleset.

Stay well.

Terry

It is something I do miss about not going to France, is their food and the way it is cooked and presented. I just wish with all these Englishman over there, someone could introduce them to "Real Ale" but their Cider out of the supermarkets can sort of make up for it Lol
