Good to see that AK47 tied for second place in a recent TMP poll on "Most Significant Modern Rulesets":

A ha! I didn't even vote on that one.
Praise for all thngs piggy.
Hurrah!
martin :)
What - you didn't even vote for yourself?! What sort of a Dictator would you make, then? The least you could have done - acting in the spirit of the rules - would have been to register a couple of dozen fake TMP profiles to support your vote.
Very disappointed...

Don't use 'TMP' anymore.
Apparently i can get 80% of a vote by just making it up.
I have seen it done.
Besides, if I lose a postal vote it just proved that the system is corrupt.
Do also consider that although Ak was not the highest scores I won the argument.
martin :)
With TMP who knows?
Martin
Well done on the 2nd place.
But remember, 43.7% of statistics are made up on the spot.
AK 47 is a good set of rules so I am not surprised at seeing near the top, however I am surprised to see Skirmish Sangin getting so few votes, for one man/one figure games it is definitely my go to set.

I was sad that The Men of Company B didn't even make the shortlist. One of my very favourite rule sets.

Simon,
It's a bit like Betamax, it's the best but not popular. VHS was popular but not the best.
Best wishes,
Martin Buck
Martin B,
Yup - there's no accounting for taste.
Maybe, once I have the Crete Day all done and dusted (might be quite sometime away yet), and have sufficiently recovered, I'll turn my attention to some kind of Vietnam event...
Simon
I look forward to it Simon. 2029 is shaping up to be quite a year!
