Can anyone point me in the direction of a painting guide for the Belgian Army 1914. i.e. before they switched from blue to green.
Cheers
John
Best one I have come across is the Osprey on the Belgian Army in WWI by R Pawly and P Linieux. If you are building a 1914 Belgian army this is well worth having. However you can find plates from this and other books if you Google the Belgian army in 1914 images. There is also the option to change some heads using the Belgian WWI heads and also the Isabellina cap head from the SCW heads range. The lancers commonly wore the Isabellina rather than the Polish schapka, as did some of the Guides. Mounted chasseurs can be made using the standard Belgian shako head.

Nah - don't copy them - they're rubbish :D
Or, rather more seriously, that is absolutely wonderful work Camulogene!

There is absolutely no chance that I will be a blue to achieve such stunning results, but I will use the pictures for reference. Thank you.
Lovely work. Makes me want to do a Belgian army.

Me too Brian! I've often thought about adding a brigade to my Square Bashing armies.
