Very nice. Particularly like the horse drawn carriages.
Exceptional. I especially love the last picture.
Lovely. Again...
Terrific painting !!
Makhnov's figure looks like the real one ! Really impressive !
I enjoy to meet them soon on the battlefield... ;) :P
Lots of headswaps in the makhnovist cavalry, I fear..

Hi,
the last infantrymen of my makhnovist army, soon entirely finished:

All the figures of that weird army are Peter Pig, mainly from the russian WW1 range ; some with headswaps: for example, the cavalrymen from the "Black Sotnia" of the previous post are RCW Red Army horsemen (ref. 84) with heads n° 15 (russian furry hats).
Makhno himself (first picture) is an austrian officer with a cossack head, and the hussar deserter next to him is a belgian adc with a russian peaked cap head. The Minerva armored car, (from the belgian WW1 range too) is speculative, as the makhnovists did have an armored squadron of ex-tsarist belgian ACs, in fact Minerva motorized but with Mors and Peugeot bodies.
Thanks for your kind comments 8)

Pierre....another nice bit of work...

Great work; I particularly like the firing line and the converted Belgian command.
Amazing army. Can I ask what base size do you use for the infantry? Thanks!!!

Instead of the standard 3x3 bases, my WW1 and RCW infantry is based on 3,2 x 2,3 stands, mainly because it was at first intended to fit a narrow trench system.
That is marvellous Pierre (understatement). :)
