Title: Stereotypes
Post by: martin goddard on August 24, 2016, 09:07:43 AM
WE use a lot of stereotypes in wargaming. This has good and bad aspects. Some are getting a bit tied and some are great fun.  How about we each define one or two stereotypes to see if they rng true.

here is one.
Sci fi female fighter.
Blonde spikey hair
High heels
Showing her breasts and thin arms.
Little or no webbing
Big tattoos

martin

Another
German WW2 infantry
Not too bright, easily deceived by thrown rocks and bird noises.
Happy to stay behind and get slaughtered.
Will fall for deceits such as "can I just get a cigarette out?"
Very square jaw and total adherence to the cause.

French officer:

Flamboyant, debonaire, easily offended, enjoys a good, long lunch, impeccably turned out, sports a thin moustache and in the 1850s - 70s a small goatee as well.
