48 of those are Peter Pig with two more with the bases cut off to create dead longhorns.
Very impressive herd. Like to see them when they're all finished.
That gladdens my heart! :)
They look like they would cause a serious stampede!

Nick
14 of the 18 individually based cowboys - also primed for this setup - are also from Peter Pig as are the two chuck wagons ready for painting. The four painted cowboys in the photo above are from the long gone Frontier Miniatures range as are the six painted longhorns in the image above - not sure where the other two painted cattle came from. All of the painted cattle are likely to get reworked to look more like longhorns. All 18 cowboys have 'matching' dismounts and there are also six dead cowpokes. The six dead cattle, two longhorns and four cows are all from Peter Pig. The dead longhorns are just the basic model with the stand carefully cut off and the head positioned to look as natural as possible for a dead cow. I'd love a pack of skeletal dead longhorns and dead men and just longhorn skulls with horns, buffalo skulls, too - with vultures in a pack by themselves! That would gladden my heart Martin - and open my wallet! Hey, I also need dead sheep. ;)
Take note that those painted cowboys are wielding lariats (ropes) - wish I could have found more like that!
As I've said before, my Old West figure collections is a bit large, like massive large. That is not my only cattle herd - there are herefords, black baldies, and more primed and waiting paint. Game goal: The Whole Wilder West, All At Once.
Me thinks I'll have steak this weekend
