Chris had a good idea.
Because the players are working together they can still sit on opposite sides of the table, but the game runs in a left to right direction rather than a me to you.

I think both players should sit on the same side of the table. That way they can grumble to each other over the length of time their opponent is taking to move the enemy figures. Or am I missing something? More mince pies and sherry? Merry Christmas everyone.
Because the two or three players are fighting together it may help them to not have to lean over to the far side of the table?
