Title: Question re: pack content
Post by: Clay on December 18, 2019, 08:45:26 PM
If this is NOT the right place to start this thread I apologize.  I'm getting back into WW2 and have decided to do a company from the battalion I retired out of in 2008, Bcoy. 1st Btn, 151st Inf Rgt.  They were in the battles for the liberation of Luzon, but obviously I need a mess of Japanese too.  1st coy, 3rd Btn, 39 Inf Rgt, (Himeji').
So I have question regarding pack contents with Japanese.
How many LMG crews are in pack #265 - 3?    How many Light 'knee mortars' in #269 - 4?   Number of actual officer types in command pack #s in #264 & 267?
After the holidays, I am going to order the Japanese as one big order, then the tropical GIs.  Using US marines as US Army line infantry in tropical plain HBT hot climate uniforms.

I think that "b" should probably be a "p" in the email address...

Expect some big orders coming in Martin.

I wonder what your largest ever order has been to a single customer excluding trade accounts? If course this could be sensitive information if the person is active here...but no names needed to protect the innocent!

Japanese

LMG pack 265   There are 4 poses, 2 of each
Mortar pack 269. 3 poses, all with mortar. Quite a lot of these in a platoon. Firing angle always constant, ring adjust for interior barrel firing pin length.
Command pack 264. 3poses 3,3,2 in Random priority.
Dead pack 267. Just ordinary private deads. No specific officers.

Overall
A pack with 4 poses will have exactly 2 of each
A pack with 3 poses will be 3,2,3 in a random mix.

Hope that throws some light

I remember feeling a little naughty at one show when Nigel told me that mr preorder was the biggest one at that event. I hope for Martin's sake that he gets many more bigger ones!

Yep, I certainly have lots more figures I need to buy. I could potentially buy nothing but Peter Pig and never run out of more projects to do.
