Title: Questions about Getting Started with Pieces of Eight Ships
Post by: Vorenus on December 13, 2019, 09:24:38 PM
I'm about to walk the plank and get started in Pieces of Eight.  I recall from one of the videos that 9 is about the right number of ships to acquire.  I see there are a lot of choices.  Which ships should I start with for each side?  Then there is the issue of those microscopic guns and crew.  For the nine ships, how many crew packs and how many gun packs should I order?  Thanks for the help!

Hello Van

My suggestion would be to buy just two ships and no extras. Then you could assemble them, paint them up and see how things went?
Others can probably give a better "customer eye" though.

Van,

You could also look at some of the Tutorials & Gallery posts, and see what look you want to go for / judge whether you have the patience to add the deck bits and pieces, e.g:

And then maybe just decide to ask Lluis to do some for you :) ?
