Title: PP events proposal
Post by: martin goddard on June 26, 2019, 09:51:10 PM
Just a note about what is being considered.
Firstly the D-Day gold beach Saturday will take priority.

Events at Entoyment shop.

Event A = pirate day. Either just ships or ships and land raids.
Event B =BB test play day.

Just waiting for Miles, then i will get the cogs moving. :)

Preferably we 4-6 players to play the Beachhead game. Hopefully Stewart is available too, as it is an extension of his orginal Beachhead rules that we are playing, and Les has done us Proud and made us a play sheet for the extra bits that effect the game.

That would be good, I know your work can affect your gaming sometimes, you know me I am always conscience of your availability. So let's keep our fingers crossed.

We have CWB day on the Saturday 26th October to look forward to.
I was also thinking PBI on a more conventional table(see the big games we have put on this year !) to be a 1944 themed battle day.
As this was the year of the Us, British and Russians in Italy, France and of course the Soviet Union, all making advances towards the goal of downfall of Germany.
So I was thinking Saturday 9th November.
This would be at Entoyment in Poole.
Miles.

Thanks, Miles. Saturday 9th October is currently looking good for me. I would need to confirm - and get agreement signed in blood - at home if we're looking like getting enough folk along to make that day happen.

Sorry - when I said "October", I meant of course "November" i.e. I was in agreement with Miles. Sorry for the evident confusion.

It's in my diary for Saturday 9th November for the time being at any rate!

Yes as far as I know. Spoken to Peter about it, and he said it was. I haven't had a chance to speak to Andy.
So yes please put it on the Headline list.

Excellent, thanks - will do once I've worked out a suitable News picture to go with it - unless you have any immediate ideas?
