Does one side move all its ships in their turn, or is it alternate movement?

Hello Neil

One side moves all of its ships then the other. In addition a player must move his ships in the paper order.

You do get to fire opportunity fire in the opponent's turn, if at short range (3 hexes) or return fire, if you're fired upon and take casualties.
