Title: Pirate buildings

I have started work on the buildings for the 15mm land raid.
They will not be Hollywood Mexican/Spanish types. They will be of Dutch and English overseas design.
There will be 6 buildings in the range. All in resin by Nigel.
To save me time they are all version of a basic two storey house and single storey extension.
They will be "mated" into  6 versions. Some additional modelling added, then good to go.

The PP pirate buildings are done and being moulded by Nigel.
I think this is a good time to prepare folk for what they are getting.
These will not be the hacienda type buildings beloved of Pirates of the Caribbean.
These are buildings researched from such places as Port Royal. They represent the crammed streets of small ports. The buildings use Dutch and English type (Northern European) building techniques. They have glass windows, multiple doors and contain many cramped rooms.  These buildings would line the narrow streets. They all have multiple chimneys (usually missing from many models due to casting difficulty).  They have pent roofs too. Don't forget the weather can be bad down in the southern oceans too.

The models are all variations of the two basic "blocks". This is intentional in order to show commonality of architecture. :)

I see 6 codes up on the website awaiting the results of Nigel's handiwork!

And you're right - we so often forget that all-important consistency in the architectural styling of our little men's housing :)

If you are using English and Dutch styles then presumably these buildings may be of use in other games such as PBI (Arnhem based), ROF to name but two.

Very nice, Martin. I think they will look rather grand in various pale tones of yellows and pinks.

I was thinking perhaps Carnation, Salmon, Lemonade and Flamingo [https://graf1x.com/24-shades-of-pink-color-palette/amp/] :)

Probably lots of opportunity for Dulux to grow its global sales on the back of this new range?
