Well, it work out very well, Nick!

Nice table layout too - would you mind sharing details of your sources of terrain and scenery in due course? Presumably with an AAR of the game itself, (please :) )?

Still using old TSS 2 foot square tiles as a base. Scenery templates are mostly S&A scenics, although I still like brown felt templates for buildings. The buildings themselves are the Empires at War range which I rather like - a company I had never heard of until I saw them mentioned on this forum.

I have the tower from Empire at War. You have made me a touch jealous at your layout. Especially love the building related with the walls to add some extra interest. I will be copying.

Dave has tower too.  As do I.  We need a "who has the biggest tower"  topic. It matters. Mine is a bit wonky, because i used milliput in the mid section!

The tower was the only disappointment from Empires at War. It came with the wrong mix of side walls so the "wooden" embellishments wouldn't fit. I didn't notice until I started making it so I just left them off. Still looks acceptable though.
The walls were from 4ground. I've always thought built up areas look stronger with walls around them.

Sean, looks like you are just going to have to get to the bottom of that pile of models.

Now your war games room is up and running, get them out and up on the shelves!
