RFCM

Rules
Any army can be used, dated up to and including 1914, from any theatre.
Rather than dividing into two sides this year I thought it would do something a little different. All players will be in a single pool and the draw will be organised on other 'social' factors such as army match-up, or 'different opponents'. So everyone gets to play someone they don't normally. Scoring will be simplified and will only account for a percentage of the total score. The other components will be a best army ballot and most sporting player. The details are yet to be finalised.

I'd like to to make this year more inclusive by trying to bring in more players where possible so even if its for a single game or tutorial game.
Buffet will be provided and all tickets are available from the Battlefield hobby site

The likelihood of my getting a 1914 army painted in time is vanishingly small: is it possible/likely that there will be some loaner armies to use, please?

Sean, do you have Balkan conflict also? I'd like to get some unusual games ... 1914 armies are the backstop really

Not yet but I have been tempted to get one from Irregular as they have quite a comprehensive range.

When is this happening? If so is it at Enjoyment as I couldn't see it in Events? Can you cater for new players as I haven't got round to ever playing it and don't have an army?

Ignore last post. I've found the details. Can't attend anyway.

I have just bought my ticket.

I have had confirmation that I am not working on  Saturday  15 June so have  now bought a ticket. Should be onboard the Dorset  Sharabang. My preference is to bring Russians but if the Central Powers are short of numbers I can bring EW Germans. Had two good games in 2017 and in 2018, just hope I can get round to actually winning a game!

I've always thought that the Boxer Rebellion would be a great "quirky" period for PP. Maybe not enough of a market out there to warrant the investment in sculpting thought...

Blue Moon do a really nice looking 15mm range. At present I have considered The Men Who Would Be Kings as a way of at least starting on the cheap.
