Had the first game of Washington's Army for some time last night in prep for the Weymouth Wargames Weekend. My Americans struggled to hold back the aggressive Red Coats commanded by Stewart and Martin. The Red Coats managed to win the flank march at the end of turn two so were able to roll up the American flank. Unfortunately the speed of the British reinforcement arrival was not matched by the Americans who were somewhat more reluctant to appear. Martin confused by the lack of a grid and the need to measure distance. Best performing unit was a raw loyalist militia regiment coincidentally the only unit not made up of Peter Pig figures - spooky.
Always good to get out a game you haven't played for sometime.
Chris
Yes it was a good game and blew the cobwebs away
Time to forget them one again Chris and get the BB rulebook out.
