Title: Land raid 8
Post by: martin goddard on October 02, 2018, 07:04:28 PM
Just sent it out to all high seas players.
I have simplified the officers so that only action are done with no special officer moves.
Both players have events at their turn starts.
6" squares seem to be the right choice.

Let us see/sea how that goes??

Oh yes - I didn't spot them at first!

Where are they sourced from?

Mike and martin played land raids tonight  (5th).
Two great games.
Games are lasting about 1 hour once the basic mechanisms are learned.

Martin kindly game over this afternoon and we played 3 land raid games in about 3 1/2 hours.
Very quick game with few figures , maybe 40 bases for both sides.
2 winns to the attack, 1 for the defender. A few points came up for dissuasion , namely initial deployment area for the attacker and size of defenders addionel scurvy bases.
Game length of 8 turns with the chance for more seems about right.

Yes. With Poe tokens.
