Title: Normandy Brits
Post by: alex918 on April 11, 2018, 08:56:23 PM
As a shift in focus from North Africa, I've started progress on some British for a NW Europe campaign

First up are the support elements, options for Crocs as assault firepower or Achilles to contest any airports threats. Pics of the first foot platoon to follow in the next few days.

Additional options will be Mortars and 6lb AT guns

That is all splendid I see you base your tanks. I tend to do the same..

I find it keeps them at the same height level as the foot bases and provides protection when  handling/transporting.  All bases including the tanks and trucks have magnetic strip as they are stored in biscuit tins.

Very nice - especially the basing.

I do the opposite to keep my bases "sticky" - thin steel sheet under the base and stored in boxes lined with magnetic sheeting.
