Title: Civil War Battle Day ?
Post by: Smiley Miley 66 on July 15, 2016, 04:45:13 AM
After the PBI battle day, a few people expressed an interest in have a Civil War day again.
October seems to be good ?
Talking mainly CWB, but Ecw, Awi, BB can be played if you want as a preference. As I will always go with the majority.
Any ideas,suggestions ?

I rather fancy an ECW day (quick, small and a popular period) but have no idea how many can/would play Miles.
Shall we speak?

ACW or ECW whichever the majority vote for but I am unavailable 1st half of Sep and all of oct.
Don't forget the Weymouth/PP wargames weekend is the 25-27th Nov and both games will be available to play.

My preference would be ACW, just because its tradition and we don't play it very often. But I will go with the flow too.

Time may be an issue. There is the Sqyarebashing day at the end of Ocotber and Piggie weekender end of November.

Time is a consideration - mini break walking in October and mini-break to Warfare in November; and then it's Christmas spending!!

For Regiment of Foote, I always think doubles is a good format. I have enough figures for two armies and would happily lend an army out for the day.
