RoF Game
« on: July 01, 2016, 12:11:08 AM »
As we have a lot of troops based for FoG:R, which are in units of 6 bases for infantry and 4 for cavalry it made sense to alter the game set up a little. Our table is 6x4, divided into 8" squares, with 1 column for 'extras'. Each 1/2 base casualty is 1 base, but we use sabots to keep a track of units with missing bases with all these bases floating about.

It looks like this  (Early Royalist vs Covenanters)

following the death rolls, and cannonade

This one shows Rays exceptional dice, with veteran highlanders with all the supports (full fat) bouncing off a rather desultary amount of royalist

14 dice, not one 5 Ray! :o

That works.  What amount of time is a game taking you to complete?
