Suggestions for FJ Early and Late War
« on: July 31, 2020, 01:13:12 PM »
If I can persuade Martin:

  • Separate drop canisters in the three configurations: Just dropped with the crumple cap attached,  Cap Removed but not on wheels and Cap removed and on wheels. They are useful scatter items for command bases and the like. (Already discussed with him off line....)
  • Update the Para Heads:
The ones in Range 6 Pack 41 are too big to use with the early war FJ.

In addition add helmet covers (early and later war) with the pronounced foliage band and some with netting.
  • Ammunition carriers in the same vein as the LW set in range 8 pack 454
  • Medics or figures assisting wounded.
  • Tank riders for LW
  • Moving Tripod MG set

Si,

These are all good ideas. To which one might add:

 - platoon leaders' pack (as the existing command pack might be deemed more suitable for a Company Command)
 - and - to be really, really picky: 50mm mortars / demolition charges / flamethrowers in the most recent sculpting style (the latter two particularly useful for Eben Emael)

But I fear Martin may be heading down Mexico way...

I would really like to see the 50mm mortar, a mule and handler, a specialists pack containing a flamethrower, a satchel charge dude, and a sniper.  Then I would be very happy.

Hello Chaps

I will see what i can do. That might result in some stuff but possibly not (sorry). Glad the paras are proving popular. :)

Presently I am galloping down to Mexico. The Mex rev will need at least 10 packs in order to be viable for gamers to purchase. If I did fewer packs then went back to Germans, I think those few packs might just "sit there" and be a non-start?

A new range will (hopefully) create a massive demand for new packs that will dwarf requests for additions to existing ranges. Those who liked the look of  a mexrev range can chime in here to re-assure folk that it is better than adding to existing ranges?

This is the side effect when launching new ranges.
It takes all the work away from existing ranges.
The new mexrev packs might have been better as new packs in other ranges? Possibly?

I take it as great praise that gamers are prepared to buy PP stuff at all.

Don't forget that the PP para range is probably the largest that has ever been seen in the history of the world?
60 unique sculpts. Joining the 24 that remain from earlier  releases =84.

owzat?
martin :)

The new paras represent a very good innings, Martin, and you're not out yet!
