Gaming in the COVID-19 world

Was it Martin's last game for while and for the rest of us?
What are your thoughts on alternatives to face-to-face gaming now social distancing here?

Yes, solo gaming looks favourite. What about using a "face-time" type  link to show the game table via a screen for multi player games? No idea how this would work but if say Martin sets up a game at PPHQ and live-streams it to others. What we called a conference call in the old days.

Local RPG club are gaming online, to get over the restrictions. But it is easier as they work off charts and tables mainly. Apparently works well.
I know a lot of painting will hopefully be done in the next few months, one way or another.
Blimey I found out being a humble dustman is classed as a “Key Worker” fancy that...” I can’t say my 35 YO boy won’t like when I say I can send you to school ? LoL”
But seriously these are trying times.
But here is a question: I assume once people have had the Virus, we can start mixing with other Virus survivors again ???

Hi Miles,
I assume covid-19 survivors can mix with the general population as they will have immunity, for a period at least, there is still doubt and scientific debate about the longevity of any immunity acquired.

Establishing who has had the infection is the purpose of the "serum" test, which detects antibodies, once it's rolled out.

I would have take into consideration the status and vulnerability of my immediate family and friends before venturing too far.

Best wishes,
Martin Buck

This is getting serious now! Sue has told me I may need to stop buying figures as we may need the money for food if she has to stop work. Bloody Chinese flu.
