Sounds like an idea if Salute gets cancelled.
But surely they can Postpone the event rather than cancel ?
I ve got 2 concerts to go to in the next 3 weeks. I am worried they might get cancelled/postponed? Especially the London one  as its 3000 plus people attending.

Trouble is places like CMEX or NEC are booked up every weekend for years ahead. Finding a slot could be difficult.
Also in fairness to BJ and the Government they have not said they would never ban massed gatherings, only that they did not plan to ban them in the near future (at the time the question was asked). So not a u-turn just a hardening of attitude.

True John, it looks like it's come quicker than expected though after the press conference on Thursday evening.

Unconfirmed reports from traders at Hammerhead that Salute has been cancelled  :(

Apparently there is a very sombre mood amongst the traders...

If traders put their Salute show discount codes out to the worldwide community Iím sure there will be a great response.

All cancelled here.
So time to work from home.
Several people  from our next village (St Pois)  have been taken to hospital.
Just the butchers and bakers open.

That sounds a bit grim, Les.

Can you still get wine, cider and Calva?

Quelle bummer. We were booked for five days in St Mere Eglise to visit the D-Day sites and museums in a week's time. Now trying to rebook for the autumn.

Still open for the elections, Macon hoping for some more seats!

John, I do not think you'll be over, the ferries are still running, but restaurants, bars etc are closed.

All we are being asked is to go out for food, pharmaceuticals, and light exercise.

Simon all the normal supplies available, especially Calva as the elderly french use it as their medi-cas.

Phew, the Calva is getting through! Drink enough of the stuff and you will not be troubled by COVID-19.
Stewart's wartime spirit, planting spuds and drinking tea is spot on as BJ and the Govt are looking at turning arms and motor manufacturers over to respirator production.

Hand sanitiser is so expensive now that we have been considering getting multi-purpose gin in at work instead.

Good to hear, Les - civilisation is clearly still alive and kicking!

I was at Hammerhead yesterday, numbers were definitely down compared to last year. (Lots of children there enjoying the games.) Some traders were saying it was the last show for the year or at least until the autumn, difficult to tell if they were joking.
