As I said before I had a Viva HC, in the spirit of 70's and 80's car improvement I fitted mine with: circular driving lights above the front bumper (came on with main beam), rectangular fog lights below the bumper, a 6" circular reversing light above the rear bumper, two rectangular high intensity rear fog lights below rear bumper, single tone air horns, white fibreglass whip aerial, chrome door mirrors, and a wood and leather effect centre console to house the radio cassette player. All the lights etc. were wired in correctly with relays where required under the expert supervision of my dad.

The lights were inspired by looking at rally cars in magazines, my brother had a Ford Escort mark 1 kitted out in a similar way. We fitted some high backed bucket seats in the Escort and a couple of days later decided to try the "traffic light sprint" my brother put his foot down and engaged the clutch then the front seats anchor bolts just came up through the floor, tipping the seats back, as the force on them was too great. We added some angle iron across the floor to spread load better.

Happy days.

Ah, great photos. I passed my test in 1970 (eventually) in the HB. In 1977 whilst working for Norwich Union in Cornwall, I drove around the Duchy in a red HC. I preferred the dippy window of the HB although the HC gearbox seemed  better or maybe it was my improved driving, the high point of which was when I went round a sharp bend in the HC near St Just on two wheels after a lunch of St Austell HSD. Different times.
