Serious disturbances predicted in the Midlands
« on: August 23, 2016, 10:10:19 PM »
Two newcomers to Regiment of Foote are attending my house tomorrow for their first game of RoF, though not their first RFCM experience.

I'm undecided whether to take them through the full game or to play one of the scenarios such as Cropredy Bridge. I'll decide tomorrow but I'm looking forward to using my new gaming mat!

Hi Sean, I would take them through the full game so they can see how the defender/ attacker is decided.
From experience -
You could always have the two armies worked out and the scenery chosen.
Encourage both especially the defender who may get a little upset after depletions .
Full game should take about 3 hrs with newbies.
