OK chaps
PBI day 18th January
Ben, Dave, Big Mike and martin.  Maybe a 2 v2 game . AM and then pm.
That is enough.
Others are of course welcome.
1940 OK then?
I will let it "settle" for day or two,  then contact Entoyment to see if tables are free,
That sound good. :)

18th will go in  my diary too.

I might even get myself to an army to collect at the weekender to paint over the Christmas period.

Oddly, I have never done a British army so I think this may be the time.

No worries Miles
I will lend you an early war French army.
I can point it up and bring it to you on the day if that helps?

Returning to the original subject of this thread, here are some shots of the games I played last Saturday:

Early in Game 1 - Germans advancing against British Motorised Company:

Game 1 nearing the end with a fight for the objectives, as the armour and more reinforcements make it onto the scene:

Note the lonely base of German tank hunters to the left of the building in the middle - they popped up and knocked out the enemy Priest with their first shot - more anon...

Game 2 saw a lot of Germans arrive to face a thinly-spread single company of US paras:

The German tank hunter squad disabled and then knocked out a US tank destroyer, jumped into an unoccupied objective square behind the L-shaped house, then fought off an assault by a couple of squads of paras, killing both with a double-six:

I might need to paint a Knight's Cross on those figures...

So Ben and Dave if you like to have a re March of the game we played at some point with me not fielding my very ‘Game winning’ Panther tank, I can replace it with a Churchill 75mm gun or 6 pdr gun tank or an Archilles and or a Sherman Firefly ?
Just in case I may of offended someone ?
Apparently you can’t use captured vehicles. Even though it was costed as per Rules as was the whole force was. Yes to the maximum 400 points, changing tank will reduce this to 395-397 but that may make the difference ?
