PBI games day
« on: October 28, 2019, 04:40:43 PM »
There is a PBI games day on Saturday 9th November at Entoyment Poole.
This is quite soon.
I believe we agreed 1944.
Standard games.

Is this OK ?
Who is coming along?

I believe this is indeed what was agreed.

And sincerely hope so, as I am going!

I intend to be there with a Finish army and the real army that was in the Hürtgen forest that the Americans found hard to beat.

Count me in. I will be bringing a surprise army, ( it will be surprise if it wins). Probably US and a German army just in case.

Why not combine them in a US company made up of German US citizens.

May I suggest that each player brings their 6 scenery pieces for the day.
I am sure Miles and martin will have some to lend out but it saves time if players know what they will be using.

I shall bring
2x Rocky outcrops. Cover  plus impassable for vehicles.
3 x buildings
1x Wood

Not sure which company to bring.
I can bring either axis or allies as the balance requires.

I am thinking of Russian infantry company. Then I can attack.

I'm still completing my first PBI force: while I have enough troops and armour, I have no mat or suitable terrain finished yet.

Would someone be able to help me out with scenery, please?
