1. Mid war western theatre. "The Confederacy  under pressure".   Hope that is Ok?
1862-1863

Chickamauga, Vicksburg, Corinth, Atlanta if you want to get a feel for the times.
Quite a few famous commanders there too

I find I can attend minus the offending part of my anatomy that prevented me from being there last year. I can provide either side. I'd better read up on the rules as I haven't played for 2 years and dust off those pipe cleaners.

Mid war western would be good as I have a union army for this period, will there be any Western Union generals available by then? What armies are people thinking of bringing ? -  I can bring a Confederate army if needs be.

How much do we need to pay, the usual £10 for the day?

Had a good practice game with Martin at Dorchester Club on Wednesday. Although we didn't quite finish the game we did manage to claw back some memory of the rules although Martin was discombobulated by the lack of grids and the use of rulers (the devils work).

Anyway only a week to go so who will be attending as tables will need to be booked.

Martin (Rebs)
Chris (union)
Miles (Union)
John (Rebs) ?
Colin (Rebs) ?
Mike (Union) ?

CWB days are always good fun and are played with a view to enjoying the day rather then winning any prizes  If you fancy giving it a go just pop down you can always join in on a game.

Chris

If you can bring scenery, that would be very good Miles. I know you have rather a lot. :)

Here is the "rough" overall need of scenery for 3 tables.

Most needed will be roads. For three tables 36 feet is needed.
Templates, general x 24.
Trees = 90
The hills in CWB are mainly gentle.  About 8 are needed.
Fencing, 8 feet in needed.  No hedges.
3 cloths. Each 6x3 feet.

I have a lot of CWB templates if that helps.
