Clever of them to select small battles, that can easily be represented at a 1:10 scale with an "army starter pack".

Have you seen the MDF bases on Pedraken. 30 x15 mm ? As well as 30 x30 etc amoungst others ?

2mm MDF is getting to be too thick for 15mm let alone 6, 10, 12mm figures.

I agree with you for 15mm, Les - the PP bases (or 2p coins) work very well for me.

However, for some of the smaller scales, I think some people need a thicker base to give them something to hold onto (as opposed to the relatively smaller and more fragile figures)?

I have used Pendraken bases for some larger 15mm items (e.g. Western horseholders), which were good.
