Tonight's games
« on: November 30, 2018, 10:49:13 PM »
Played two games of Vikings tonight.  The games looked lovely. Just about remembering the full rules now.
Enjoyed the challenges but did not kill anyone.
Archery only shot off one base.
Moving rapidly up that road went well.
Big difference in 2nd game due to finding a gift from God.  i.e.  the bishop.

We played 2 games in the span of 3 hours. We did the campaign starter both times but did not change the scenery between games to save time.
I like the idea that hits determine the fight outcomes. Got a couple of "hacking through" to smash shield walls.

Yes thats a great mechanic where its the hits that count. To me it captures the push and shove of two lines of men hitting each other.
